
Washington D.C. police are on the hunt for a brazen bandit who snatched cash from a bank customer on Friday morning. The Metropolitan Police Department's Second District has requested the public's assistance to catch the robber who struck in broad daylight.
The bold theft occurred inside a bank located on the 5200 block of MacArthur Boulevard, Northwest, around 11:15 a.m. According to the MPD's statement, the suspect made off with the victim's money, swiftly fleeing the scene, leaving the customer stunned and the bank in a momentary state of chaos.
Detectives are scouring the area for leads and have called on witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.
