The City of Palmdale and National Weather Service (NWS) Los Angeles/Oxnard have issued a weather alert and advisory warning for Southern California as moderate snow is expected to drop as low as 3,000 feet and winds could gust up to 45 mph. "Delays or temporary closures are possible over many mountain roads, including Highway 33 in Ventura County." The advisory is in effect from April 3 through April 5, affecting areas including Interstate 5 Corridor, Western San Gabriel Mountains Highway 14 Corridor, and both Western and Eastern Antelope Valley Foothills, according to the City of Palmdale - Government.
