The White Settlement Police Department was the chosen venue for the renowned "Women's Leadership Institute" training program, an initiative dedicated to honing the leadership skills of women in law enforcement. Thanks to the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP), which spearheaded the program, the one-week course took place at the City of White Settlement's Pecan Grove Convention Center, as reported by the White Settlement Police Department.

Garnering participants from police and sheriff departments across the Lone Star State, the program is not just a feather in White Settlement's cap, but a pivotal step for women leaders grappling with unique challenges in the workplace. While nine department employees received training in leadership theories and practical skills intended to inspire their teams and achieve organizational objectives, the classes were attended by women from around the State of Texas.
