Hale's transition from cadet to cop is now in full swing as he hits the streets for field training. But badge polishing isn't the only thing on Hale's resume—adding to his community roots, he's also a proud Reservist in the United States Air Force since 2011 and has answered the call of active duty.
It's no easy feat completing the rigorous six-month academy program, but Officer Hale has done it with the backing of his former stomping grounds, Brewer High School, where he crossed the stage back in '08. Now, he's crossing another threshold—one that serves and protects the community he grew up in.
