A woman was fatally shot, and a man left fighting for his life after a predawn shooting shook a Southeast Side neighborhood in San Antonio. The violence erupted around 1:30 a.m. Wednesday in a home on the 5600 block of Espada Cliff, a quiet area not far from Loop 410, KENS 5 reported.

San Antonio Police, arriving at the scene, discovered the woman deceased in the garage. A man, believed to be in his 30s, was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds including a critical hit to the chest, and, two more in his arm. The wounded man was promptly taken to BAMC and remained in critical condition according to the same report by KENS 5.

Law enforcement officers at the site located several bullet casings scattered in the yard, indicating that the suspect may have fled the scene on foot immediately following the shooting. As of now, details on the suspect remain scant, with police procedures on the hunt, and homicide detectives spearheading the investigation, FOX San Antonio revealed.
