The incident occurred in the 1300 block of West Sunnyside Avenue around 12:40 a.m. Tuesday when shots rang out from a silver SUV. The woman sustained injuries to her left leg and was rushed to Presence St. Francis Hospital in Evanston, where she was listed in fair condition.
