Approximately 11 rounds were fired between the two parties, resulting in the homeowner suffering a gunshot wound to the foot, the boyfriend in the forearm, and the girlfriend in the back of the leg. Neighbors, alongside the homeowner, made calls to the police. In a frantic attempt to flee, the couple hit a parked car and eventually continued their escape on foot, but were soon located by responding officers.

According to KENS 5, SAPD continues to actively investigate the circumstances of the shooting.
