In a swift response to a callous disregard for law and public safety, constabulary forces led by Constable Mark Herman's office apprehended one Herlin Herrera, the man accused of fleeing a vehicular chaos scene in Harris County without so much as providing his information.
Deputies rushed to the scene following reports of the crash in the 5900 block of Cypresswood Green Drive on May 17, – where they learned that Herrera had made his escape, transgressing the code of conduct expected on our thoroughfares and leaving behind the wreckage and its victims, while nearby the deputies swarmed and successfully tracked him down.
A brief pursuit of accountability yielded results, and Herrera now faces the consequences of his alleged act of hit and run after being cornered by law enforcement not far from the crash scene, "Herlin Herrera was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Failure to Stop and Give Information. His bond was set at $100.00 out of County Court 9.” Constable Mark Herman stated.
