Stressed about picking classes? Worry not, because Austin Community College District (ACC) is kicking off its Registration Week today to lay out the welcome mat for students feeling the registration blues. According to the ACC Newsroom, this week-long event is designed to guide students through the maze of course selection, application processes, and financing options for their educational journey.
From today until Friday, May 17, ACC staff are set to quickly and comprehensively give students the support they need to easily navigate the fall registration. Whether you're a newbie or a seasoned student, there's a chance to participate in a variety of activities and to also receive personalized, one-on-one guidance from dedicated ACC staff. The initiative looks to empower students to make decisions confidently about their academic future.
Wrapping up the week are special, full-access registration rallies where participants can expect a more interactive and engaging experience. For those who prefer the comfort of their own space, a Virtual Registration Rally is available on May 17 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Those opting for a face-to-face interaction can hit the Highland, Hays, or Round Rock Campus on Saturday, May 18 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
But the support doesn't stop there. Students can look to continue to receive help throughout the summer at the Registration Stations set up at various ACCelerators or during once-a-month Saturday Registration Rallies. These rallies will take place on the Hays, Highland, and Round Rock campuses, poised to welcome attendees from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on June 15, July 20, and August 17.
For the go-getters or the procrastinators, another shot to get registered in person or virtually asserts itself at the campus-based ACCelerators, where staff will be standing by Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. to offer assistance. Needing more flexibility? Booking a virtual session for support is just a click away.
