An early morning blaze in north Austin left one resident without a home on Friday. Firefighters rushed to a residence on 11215 Prairie Dove Circle after reports of a house fire at around 7:26 a.m., as CBS Austin reported. Flames were seen billowing from the home's front door and garage area, but crews managed to extinguish the fire promptly.
The Austin Fire Department confirmed the fire incident on social media, detailing that the fire had occurred in the 11200 block of Prairie Dove Circle, near the Braker and Metric area. "The fire has been knocked down and crews are working on extended overhaul and checking for hot spots," stated the department in an official X post. During the firefighting efforts, no injuries were reported.
