Tragedy struck in north Austin as the community woke to the news of a shocking homicide early Saturday morning, marking the city's 19th such incident of 2024. Reports from KXAN confirmed that officers, responding to a disturbance heard around 3:27 a.m. near Colony Creek Drive and Northgate Boulevard, discovered a man in his 30s with serious body trauma, who was subsequently pronounced dead on the scene.
