
The MBTA Transit Police have taken into custody a 28-year-old man from Boston on charges stemming from alleged inappropriate conduct on the city's public transportation. The arrest, which took place on May 9, was the outcome of an investigation into two separate incidents involving indecent assault and battery, purportedly committed on an MBTA bus in Brighton and at the Park Street Station.
Authorities disclosed that the suspect, whose identity has yet to be made public, has a concerning history with the law. During the arrest and booking process, it was found to quickly unravel that the detained man also has 11 pending cases, all related to sexual assaults. This alarming detail suggests a pattern of repeat offenses that have raised red flags within the local law enforcement community.
