They prompted Eden-Chambers to exit the vehicle, noticing his arm firmly pressed against his waistband.

A frisk quickly led to the discovery of a Smith and Wesson SD40, fully loaded with one in the chamber and a dozen more in the mag. Arresting officers took Eden-Chambers into custody without further incident. The district's streets are a smidgen safer with one less gun out there.

The teen faces charges including unlawful possession of a firearm, ammunition, and a large capacity feeding device. Heated debates on gun control and youth violence may churn on, but for Eden-Chambers, the next stop is the Roxbury District Court where he'll be arraigned for his alleged offenses.
