According to the Dallas County Sheriff’s Department, the event pulled in over $42,000 thanks to sponsor support and team effort.
The fundraiser, which took place in Duncanville, was backed by an ensemble of sponsors including the WB Service Co., HBL Towing, Duncanville CEDC, and Canales Furniture, Frost Bank, among others. With their backing, the Dallas County Sheriff's Office didn't just pull a fire truck, but also the community's heartstrings, raising funds needed for a noble cause. The Dallas County Sheriff's Department made sure to extend a heartfelt thanks to these sponsors and the teams that showed up, via social media, stating "Without the support of our sponsors and teams, we would not have been able to raise over $42,000 for Special Olympics Texas."
