A Deerfield Beach man, Javontay Kinder, 24, is being held without bond after being charged with first-degree murder by drug distribution, as well as the selling and trafficking of fentanyl, following the deadly overdose of Tyler Twiehaus, 34, last summer, as reported by WPTV.

In a Palm Beach County courtroom on Wednesday, Kinder faced a judge where the connection was detailed Twiehaus' overdose in a hotel room on July 1, 2023, to the fentanyl allegedly sold to him by Kinder, court records and findings by the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office deputies linked Kinder to the incident through articulate scrutiny of license plates text messages subscription records and financial transactions.
