The Deering Estate’s Artist-in-Residence Program is calling for artists from the visual, literary, performing, and cross-disciplinary arts to apply for a creative stint in 2025. Applications are now open till August 31, announced the Miami-Dade County government yesterday.
The Deering Estate's AIR program isn't just an opportunity for artists to hone their craft. The Deering Estate representatives, like Cultural Arts Curator Liliam Dominguez, have extolled the program's success, citing "the privilege of presenting and collaborating with internationally-acclaimed visual artists, composers, musicians, playwrights, authors, choreographers, and performers," according to Miami-Dade County website.
