The Boston Police Department has issued a community alert, calling on the public to help identify a suspect involved in an armed robbery in Roxbury. Authorities say the incident happened around 3:30 PM yesterday at 24 Hancock St. The individual brandished a firearm during the robbery, according to the Boston Police reports.

Described as a male in his mid 40s with medium brown skin, standing about 5'7" tall, and rocking a thin to medium build, the suspect was last seen wearing a plaid style jacket of brown color, light blue jeans, and white sneakers. During the incident, a tan "booney" style hat he was donned came off, revealing that he may be bald.

Detectives from District B-2 are spearheading the investigation and are rigorously sifting through evidence to bring clarity to the events.
