After three and a half years of inquiries and silence, a suspect has finally been cuffed in the murder case of a teen girl. Eagle Pass police, with the aid of the Texas Rangers and the District Attorney's office, nabbed 29-year-old Victor Francisco Sanchez on May 8, as confirmed by FOX San Antonio. Sanchez is accused of killing 19-year-old Jocelyn Ruby Sevilla in November 2020.
The young girl's life was cut short in a homicide that shook the small community of Eagle Pass. Her untimely death occurred at a residence located on Del Rio Boulevard. The arrest comes after a collaborative effort, between local law enforcement, Texas Rangers, and the District Attorney's office.
Further details about the arrest or the evidence that led to Sanchez's apprehension were not immediately released by the authorities.
