Four individuals are facing serious charges after a drug bust in Middle Georgia, the culmination of an extensive multi-agency investigation. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation announced the arrests of Martavious Jamale Moore, Derrick Tyrone Taylor Jr., Tu’aijah Keambre Warren, and Kendall Saulsberry, following the execution of three search warrants in Macon and Milledgeville.
A Georgia Bureau of Investigation's press release detailed that multiple law enforcement departments, including the Georgia State Patrol and the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office, collaborated in the sting operation. Agents seized quantities of Crack Cocaine, Powder Cocaine, Ecstasy, Marijuana, and a large sum of money. The intricate operation is a clear response to an increasing urgency to clamp down on drug and gang activity in Central Georgia.
According to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation's press release, the charges laid on May 3 and May 9, respectively, include Trafficking Cocaine for Moore and an array of charges for Taylor and Warren, such as Possession of Firearm During the Commission of Crime and Intent to Distribute various controlled substances. Saulsberry faces charges related to cocaine and marijuana distribution and firearm possession. Moore and Saulsberry were subsequently booked into Baldwin County Jail, while Taylor and Warren were taken to Wilkinson County Jail.
The coordinated effort by law enforcement is part of a sustained effort to create safer communities in the region.
