Gun-toting quartet cuffed in East Boston as cops seize weapons, weed. Four suspects are staring down the barrel of jail time after Boston police officers, responding to a suspicious activity call, arrested them on a slew of firearm and drug charges in East Boston last Tuesday.
According to a Boston Police Department press release, locals reported four males peering into homes along Beachview Road, sparking the police response that led them to 75 Orient Avenue where they spotted the alleged scofflaws' car and upon searching, cops found two Glocks, ammo, bags of marijuana, and digital scales stashed inside the vehicle.
The suspects, identified as Demetrey Pate, 20, Wendy Seide, 21, Levar Freeman-Allen, 19, and Philip Blain, 20, were promptly arrested for unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition, disturbing the peace, and trespassing, with Blain catching an additional rap for possession with intent to distribute class D drugs.
The recovered weaponry included a Glock 26 with a full magazine and a Glock 27 with a chambered round plus thirteen more; the group now awaits arraignment at East Boston District Court where they will answer to the charges and face their legal reckoning.
