On Saturday, May 18, from 7:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., or until the dumpsters wave their proverbial white flags of fullness, the City of Frisco Code Enforcement is hosting a free self-service cleanup event for its residents. This initiative, aimed at sprucing up neighborhoods and promoting recycling, will take place at Northeast Community Park at 12895 Honey Grove Dr.
With the heat bearing down, citizens can rather easily dispose of various oversized and hard-to-manage waste materials. However, there are some restrictions in place. Accepted items include tree limbs, shrubs, lawnmowers, grills, and an assortment of household wares from stoves to obsolete carpeting. Be advised, that certain materials such as tires, televisions, concrete, and refrigerators will not be accepted.
