Not missing a beat, the after-party host venue, El Remedio Mexican Kitchen & Bar, has hit social media with appeals, imploring the conscience of the perpetrators. "Unfortunately at our Grupo Firme after party someone broke into Eduin Caz's truck and stole very valuable belongings. Please let's get his stuff back," the bar lamented on Instagram. The tenor of the request dampened by the realization that the items were taken elsewhere during the revelries. Caz, who had just delivered a sterling show at the Frost Bank Center on May 10, resonated benevolence by showing up to meet fans and now, ironic as it is, he's offering to buy back his own pilfered possessions.
The appeal did not fall on deaf ears, with local patrons voicing distress and embarrassment over the incident. San Antonio's pride took a hit with comments like "This is why San Antonio can't have nice things," surfacing on social networks. "They wanna give the person involved the opportunity to return the items and [he] is even willing so purchase his belongings back," the bar stated in a post uncovered by LMTonline.
