Law enforcement officers were dispatched to the 880 block of Indian Trail Road and discovered Valdez's body in the passenger seat of a red vehicle, as per the Gwinnett County police. However, detectives soon realized they had uncovered a second location along the Indian Trail, between Dickens Road and Burns Road, suggesting a tragic sequence of events leading to the final scene in the parking lot. No suspects have been named in the ongoing investigation thus far.
