Late Tuesday night, a man and a woman were found dead in what Harris County officials are preliminarily calling a murder-suicide. The incident unfolded in the suburban enclave of the 6200 block of Fox Chase Court, as per authorities. Fox 26 Houston reported that deputies arrived on the scene after being called out for a welfare check, only to find the bodies of the deceased, both suffering from gunshot wounds.
Authorities pronounced the two individuals dead at the scene. Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, who arrived after the welfare check was conducted, suggested that the deaths appeared to be the result of a murder-suicide. Found with gunshot wounds, a man and female, his statement on X echoed the nature of the preliminary findings. Investigations into the shooting remain ongoing as officials continue piecing together the events that led up to the deaths.
