Upon arrival at the scene on May 12, constable deputies conducted an investigation that led to the discovery of a male suspect who had confidently attempted to casually exit the store sporting unpaid merchandise. The suspect did not get far; officers located him near the scene. He was identified as Abhan Guerra, a man not unfamiliar with this genre of crime, evidencing multiple previous theft and robbery convictions.
The items Guerra allegedly appropriated were recovered and have since been returned to their rightful commercial home. According to a Facebook post by Constable Mark Herman's Office, the suspect was apprehended and taken into custody without incident. Herman's office declared: "Abhan Guerra was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Felony Theft. His bond was set at $10,000.00 out of the 487th District Court."
