A man has been nabbed by the Metropolitan Police Department for allegedly exposing himself in broad daylight in the Northeast corridor of the city. Officials report that the incident occurred on the morning of May 8, when a victim was confronted by the suspect, who has been identified as 41-year-old Michael Spencer of no fixed address. The unsettling event took place in the 400 block of 3rd Street, Northeast.
According to information released by the MPD, Spencer didn't linger to face the consequences of his actions; he took to hastily flee the scene post exposure. The arrest didn’t come to pass until two weeks later, on May 22, when detectives, having pieced together clues, were able to track down Spencer and slap on him the charge of committing Lewd, Indecent, or Obscene Acts (Disorderly Conduct). The story comes via an official statement released by the police department on May 23.
