A man's temper apparently curdled at a Texas McDonald's yesterday when he allegedly hurled a milkshake at an employee in a frothy fit of rage. The incident occurred at the fast-food restaurant located on FM 1960 Bypass Road, where law enforcement was called to the scene of the disturbance. Authorities arrested the man, identified as Ardelphus Saunders, following the shake-down.
Upon arrival, officers from Constable Mark Herman's Office detained the suspect, with Deputy Herman stating "Ardelphus Saunders was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Assault. His bond was set at $100.00 out of County Court 16."
Evidence collected at the scene confirmed that Saunders assaulted the employee by using his drink as a weapon. The milkshake, typically a sweet treat, took on a more sinister role in this altercation. Priced at a nominal $100, the alleged assailant's bond seems a small sum to pay for such an unexpectedly sour turn of events. Saunders' mischief has led him straight to the cooler, trading a blender for bars as he awaits the consequences of his actions.
