Memphis Police are on the hunt for a suspect involved in the theft of two American Bully dogs, snatched from their owner's front yard earlier this month. According to a report by Action News 5, the incident occurred on May 5, around 9:30 p.m., when a homeowner called the cops after noticing his pets disappeared from his South Wellington Street residence.

The dogs, a brown and white Bully named Nala, and a gray and white named Zena, were microchipped, raising hopes for a reunion with their owner, who had stepped away briefly while doing work on the property. A white four-door sedan was seen speeding away from the scene, yet no arrests have been made – a detail confirmed by a Memphis Police Department Facebook post.

In a parallel WREG report, authorities are urging the public to come forward with any information regarding the missing American Bullies who were let out on April 29, presumably the same day they went missing. The dogs' well-being hangs in balance as the community rallies to spot the white sedan last witnessed at the crime scene.

Memphis Police Department's plea for public assistance extends to an invitation to offer any tips anonymously through Crime Stoppers, potentially leading to a cash reward. "Anyone with information about this incident should call Crime Stoppers at (901) 528-CASH," the department stated on their social media page. Tipsters could also utilize the P3 Tips mobile app or submit information online, promising, anonymity and, an avenue for civilians to help bring the canine victims home safely.
