D.C. cops are on the hunt for two suspects involved in the broad daylight robbery of a Southeast business establishment, according to law enforcement officials. The Metropolitan Police Department has appealed to the public for assistance in tracking down the duo responsible for targeting the store.
Described as armed and dangerous, one of the suspects wielded a handgun during the heist which took place yesterday, May 22, at around 1:25 p.m. The perpetrators stormed into the business, located in the 800 block of 8th Street, Southeast, and made off with stolen property, as MPD reported.
The suspects, after seizing items from the establishment, were last seen fleeing the scene hastily. The police are reviewing surveillance video and urgently seeking details from witnesses in a bid to apprehend the individuals who remain at large.
