According to a statement released by the Metropolitan Police Department, the incident occurred on Friday, May 17, shortly before 2 a.m. The confrontation began with a verbal dispute between the assailant and the victim on the 400 block of 2nd Street, Northwest.
The argument quickly escalated, and the suspect allegedly stabbed the victim before fleeing. Authorities have reported that the victim, an unidentified adult male, was subsequently transported to a local hospital. His injuries were deemed non-life-threatening.
