Along with the praises, tangible support also came in the form of donations from the Plano Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association (PCPAAA). The group was acknowledged for providing these donations throughout National Police Week, which helped in commemorating the event. "Please take a moment to thank the PCPAAA for all their hard work organizing this," the Plano Texas Police Department urged, signaling the alumni association's efforts in bolstering the morale of the sworn employees.
Amid the celebrations, the Police Information Office (PIO) didn't miss the opportunity to recognize the behind-the-scenes efforts of the Chief's Office in coordinating the event's activities. According to the department's Facebook post, the collaboration between the Chief's office, the PCPAAA, and the community was instrumental in the seamless execution of the proceedings. "We want to recognize the Chief's office for coordinating with the PCPAAA and community to make everything appear seamless," the PIO Office contributed, per the Plano Texas Police Department.
