A harrowing ordeal came to a close as a 5-year-old Portland boy, feared kidnapped, was found unharmed early Friday morning, with a 31-year-old woman now facing kidnapping charges.

Tra’Veon Lewis, who was last viewed at a bus stop in Southeast Portland on Thursday night, sparked an extensive police search after he was spotted in the company of two adults, one described as a male in an orange sweatshirt and the other a female in a black shirt with silver adornments, according to KATU News. The boy, fittingly adorned in character with a red or blue shirt and Toy Story shorts, was found near Southeast 151st Avenue and Southeast Mill Street at around 6:45 a.m., as per police confirmation.

As the case garnered attention, charges were swiftly levied against LeeAnne N. Osborne, who was taken into custody and charged with second-degree kidnapping - Osborne has a rap sheet with prior offenses ranging from theft to assault, as detailed by KPTV. Reports indicate that authorities could account for no prior link between Osborne and the child.

The situation was tense as the community and authorities searched. They were poring over TriMet video footage, disseminating descriptors of the adults accompanying Lewis – footage where the child could be seen in a sweatshirt with the "Champion" logo, escorted by the two individuals, per The Portland Tribune.
