According to a post on the department's social media account, the incident occurred in the 2400 block of Meadow Brook Drive, nestled between Old Settlers Boulevard and East Bowman Road. They did not indicate whether the event caused any disruptions in the flow of traffic.

Later updates from the Round Rock Police X account confirmed that the situation had been resolved by 1:52 p.m. The subject at the center of the altercation was taken into custody, and charged with assault by strangulation—a third-degree felony.
