A San Antonio man is facing serious charges after police say he sexually assaulted a 14-year-old girl. Wrenn Thomas Penick, 28, was arrested after he allegedly lured the teen to his apartment complex and committed the assault.
On the evening of May 2, Penick, who was working a kiosk at Ingram Park Mall, reportedly met the young victim. According to KENS 5, offering her a ride, a seemingly kind gesture turned sinister as they stopped at a movie theater before ending up at Penick's place miles from the shopping center.
The assault is said to have taken place at Penick's residence within the complex. After the incident, the girl, seeking to escape the nightmare, managed to contact her mother. Her mother tracked her down at the apartment complex where the attack occurred, which is where she made the police report, detailed by KENS 5.
The San Antonio Police Department has apprehended Penick on Friday afternoon, suspecting that other victims may have fallen prey to the attacker, they urge them to call the Special Victims Unit.
