A family dispute turned violent when Theo B. King, 33, was arrested for allegedly holding his sister-in-law at knifepoint and threatening her life. The incident, which unfolded after King was asked to leave the residence, led to his arrest and charging for the aggravated assault, according to Fox San Antonio.
The conflict escalated on June 23, 2023, when the sister-in-law questioned King about his employment status. Reports indicate that King and his partner were temporarily residing with the victim while in search of their own apartment. The conversation quickly devolved into threats, with King allegedly vowing to "shoot up" the location before brandishing a knife, court records revealed.
During the altercation, after the victim implored King to vacate the premises, he purportedly produced a knife from his pocket and threatened to stab her. Intervening, the victim's sister positioned herself between them, while the victim opened the door and screamed for someone to alert the authorities. A neighboring witness heeded the call, allowing the victim to contact the police. Following the skirmish, King and his partner fled the scene but were later apprehended.
It was known by the victim that King had a history of violence, having been previously violent with the sister in question. A prior conviction for "Assault causing Bodily Injury - Married" is on King's criminal record, and he was later picked out by the victim in a photo lineup, solidifying the accusations against him.
