San Antonio police are on the hunt for a suspect responsible for a recent knife-point robbery at a Northwest Side gas station, officials said. The crime occurred shortly before the evening rush hour on April 3.

The man reportedly entered the Shell gas station on Babcock Road near Sunset Haven Street, as if to buy something, said authorities. He then stepped back out to confront a 37-year-old individual, robbing them in broad daylight before fleeing the scene. Police describe the getaway vehicle as an older model Chevrolet Trail Blazer SUV.

Officials have yet to apprehend the knife-wielding robber whose actions have led to increased vigilance in the area. With the investigation ongoing, law enforcement urges anyone with helpful information to come forward.
