
A desperate search is underway for Judy Belardes, a 77-year-old Hispanic woman who went missing after walking away from her residence in San Jose. The San Jose Police Department has turned to the public for assistance as concerns mount over the safety of the at-risk elderly woman. Belardes was last spotted on May 29 at approximately 1:45 PM on the 200 Block of S 22nd St.
Belardes is described as 4'11" and weighs around 105 lbs with long gray hair. When last seen, she was donning a black tank top and blue floral print pajamas and walking with a walker. Police urgently request that anyone with information come forward to help safely return her to her family. The plea for community support was echoed by the San Jose Police Department, who asked the public to "please call 911" if they saw her.
The police statement, underscored by an accompanying post, emphasized the critical need for timely action. "Let’s get her back home safely. Reposts are appreciated," the post read. The department works around the clock to find Belardes as quickly as possible.
