According to an X post by the Surprise Police, the 'Croc Bandit' is accused of causing havoc on April 29, leaving behind a trail of destruction involving at least eight businesses in the vicinity of Litchfield and Bell roads. The rampage reportedly unfolded around 1 a.m., with the suspect being captured on surveillance footage wielding a shovel to shatter glass doors and windows. Sgt. Rick Hernandez described the suspect as a male wearing glasses, a black t-shirt, and black shorts, though it's his dark-colored Crocs that have caught the public eye.

A related social media post detailed by AZFamily, signposts the time of the crime spree as approximately 1:30 a.m. The 'Croc Bandit' is depicted in the shared video footage as a white man with dark hair, executing his criminal activities in his signature black shirt, black shorts, and the telltale black Crocs.

Surprise Police have also identified the suspect's vehicle, believed to be a newer model silver hatchback. Despite the distinctive clues to his identity, investigators have yet to bring the individual to the book. The authorities are appealing to the public to come forward with any information that could lead to his apprehension. "The male subject wore glasses, a black tee-shirt, black shorts, and dark-colored ‘Croc’ style sandals," Sgt. Rick Hernandez conveyed this in a statement obtained by FOX 10 Phoenix.
