A high-stakes chase through the streets of Harris County ended with the arrest of a wanted man on two felony counts. Authorities say that on May 21, deputies from Constable Mark Herman's Office cornered Troy Turner, a suspect with existing felony warrants, in the 5600 block of FM 1960 Road East.

Upon realizing he had been spotted, Turner decided to quickly flee the scene on a bicycle. However, his attempt to evade law enforcement was short-lived. Constable deputies gave chase and managed to apprehend him after a brief pursuit.

After the arrest, officers confirmed Turner's outstanding felony warrants for Possession of a Controlled Substance and Unauthorized Absence from a Community Correction Facility. “Troy Turner was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail for the open warrants and charged with Evading. His bond was set at $1,000.00 out of County Court 1,” stated Constable Mark Herman in a post on their official Facebook page.
