Late on Thursday, May 9, the teenager was critically injured after he fell while trying to ride his skateboard by holding onto a moving car. The incident occurred just before midnight on the 2700 block of 24th Street. According to witnesses, the young man was found lying in the roadway, gravely injured, after attempting to skateboard by clutching onto a vehicle. The driver of the vehicle, whom the teen was holding onto, has been actively cooperating with the investigation. No further details about the driver have been provided by the authorities.
