
An 18-year-old was shot in the leg in a drive-by shooting on the Northwest Side of San Antonio late yesterday evening. The incident occurred around 10 p.m. on the 15600 block of Chase Hill Boulevard, near Loop 1604.
According to the authorities, the teenager was walking with some friends when an a car drove past them and opened fire. The victim was subsequently transported to the hospital in stable condition. As of now, the police have not provided a description of the suspect vehicle involved in the shooting.
FOX San Antonio adds that the investigation into the incident is ongoing, with officials continuing to gather evidence at the scene. Community members have raised concerns about the frequency of such violent incidents in their area.
