Tragedy struck Manchester, New Hampshire on Friday evening when a car crashed into a motorcycle, leaving two dead. Manchester Police responded to the fatal accident that occurred on Elm Street near Pearl Street, as reported by NBC Boston.
The collision involved a 2021 Honda Accord making a U-turn and colliding head-on with the northbound motorcycle. Both the motorcycle operator, a 34-year-old man, and his passenger, a 38-year-old woman, were from Dunbarton, NH. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene while the man succumbed to his injuries shortly after being transported to the hospital. Per WMUR, the driver of the Honda Accord was uninjured.
The names of the deceased have not been released as of yet. The area was closed off to traffic following the accident and opened again around 2 a.m. Saturday. Manchester Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash, and urge anyone with information to come forward.
