Early Thursday, gunfire disrupted the quiet of a northwest Atlanta neighborhood, leaving two people wounded in what police have called a "targeted" attack. The shooting, reported around 2 a.m. on the 200 block of Camrose Way, occurred in close proximity to Harper Archer Elementary School, as reported by FOX 5 Atlanta.
Authorities told FOX 5 Atlanta that the victims were rushed to Grady Memorial Hospital and are expected to recover. Images from the scene showed a car in a driveway, its driver's side window punctured by bullet holes. Officers have closed off the section of road while investigation unfolds, looking for answers to who might have fired the shots.
