Police have since identified the victims of the Tana Food Mart shooting as 57-year-old Tigist Lulesgud, who was fatally wounded, and 62-year-old Yeshetela Abebe, an employee of the store who was shot in the leg. Teodros Shibeshi, 62, said to be the former brother-in-law of Lulesgud, has been named as the shooter. After the attack, Shibeshi reportedly turned the gun on himself and is now in critical condition at Northside Gwinnett Hospital.
