
Tragedy has struck the Yavapai County Sheriff's Office as they announced the untimely passing of Deputy Jesse Hubble, who died at the age of 47 of natural causes at his home yesterday. Hubble, who joined the sheriff's office in July 2017 and took up his post in the northern area of the county in January 2018, leaves behind a legacy of service and dedication both in his professional and personal life. According to a release from the Yavapai County Sheriff's Office obtained by 12 News, Hubble's sound judgment and reserved demeanor were highlighted as hallmarks of his character.
Hubble's commendable life story includes his time as a U.S. Navy veteran, where he displayed extraordinary heroism in 2007 by rescuing a navy pilot from a helicopter crash in the ocean. For his bravery, he was awarded with the Navy and Marine Corps Medal for heroism. In honor of his community service, Hubble was recognized last year with an award from the members of the American Legion Robert Fulton Post 57 of Ash Fork. His commitment to the wellbeing and growth of his community is a testament to his generous spirit, matched only by his professional achievements. "Deputy Jesse Hubble served this Nation and in YCSO with humility, honor and a servant’s heart," Yavapai County Sheriff David Rhodes said. "His sacrifices will never be forgotten."
