The incident, which unfolded on the night of June 2, saw a man accused of swiping a bag of money from a clerk who was in the process of emptying the business's gaming machines.
Officers arrived at the scene shortly before midnight following a larceny call, as reported by WSBTV. The police were informed by the manager of the gas station that while the attendant's back was turned, the alleged thief, described as a black man with a slim build, grabbed the money-filled bag and fled. He was last seen donning a grey t-shirt paired, with black skinny jeans, white sneakers, and a black skullcap.
