Inside, they found a victim in his 30s lying on the floor. Atlanta police homicide commander Lt. Andrew Smith suggested that the violence appeared to be drug-related. "At this point, from what we've seen, this appears to be a drug-related homicide," he told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Surveillance footage showed that additional shots were fired from surrounding residences, further complicating the melee of the early morning tragedy.
