Authorities in Austin are investigating after a body was discovered near the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center, as KXAN reported. The Austin Police Department was called to the scene after a 911 call at approximately 3:34 p.m. on Thursday indicated that "a person was down along a fence line," Austin-Travis County EMS. Emergency responders said, including teams from the Austin-Travis County EMS and the Austin Fire Department, arrived at 4801 La Crosse Ave. to find the individual pronounced dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, FOX 7 Austin confirms this is now an ongoing investigation by Austin Police. The report came in after a passerby noticed a person appearing unresponsive; first responders were dispatched to the scene, where they concluded the individual had passed before their arrival.
