Students looking to get a jump on their fall 2024 class schedules can now get some extra help, thanks to Austin Community College District's (ACC) Registration Rallies. As courses start to fill, ACC is stepping up with personalized support, including one-on-one assistance in a variety of areas. The next available Registration Rally will be on Saturday, June 15, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., available at the Round Rock, Hays, and Highland Campuses.
The ACC Registration Rallies offer a chance for students to get hands-on support with registration, academic advising, financial aid, and course selection, said the college. The goal, is to ensure all students have the tools they need to succeed in the upcoming semester. Interested students are encouraged to take part in these opportunities for individualized guidance to align their academic pursuits with career paths. Additional rallies are scheduled for July 20 and August 17.
Apart from the rallies, ACC is also providing ongoing support at their Registration Stations, positioned in the ACCelerators at the Highland, Round Rock, and San Gabriel campuses. Students who need more flexible arrangements can book virtual sessions for assistance. The Registration Stations are open Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., throughout the summer.
For students unable to attend the in-person rallies, this added flexibility is a boon. The virtual session option makes it possible for all students, regardless of their personal and professional commitments, to access the support they need.
