The Bexar County Sheriff's Office is urgently calling for the public's assistance in the search for a missing teenager, Kayla Oyervides, age 16, who has not been seen since June 2. As reported by FOX San Antonio, Kayla was last observed in the vicinity of Forrest Canyon and Alamo Canyon on the far West side of Bexar County.

Before her disappearance, she communicated to her family her plans to visit a lake with a friend and that friend's mother, and now more than a week has passed without further contact, heightening concerns for her welfare, a statement obtained by KSAT reveals Kayla's physical description as someone who stands at about 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighs approximately 100 pounds, she has brown eyes and black hair, and her last known outfit consisted of a grey tank top with matching shorts, and black sandals.
